Description
The Reading based Credit Controller will be expected to cover:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of credit accounts and transactions.
- Monitor outstanding debts and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Review and analyse customer credit limits and assess risks.
- Respond promptly to queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare regular credit control reports for internal stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with clients to maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Profile
A successful Credit Control candidate should have:
- Proven experience in credit control within the accounting and finance sector.
- Strong understanding of credit management and financial principles.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
