A well-established charity and SME operating in the social care / housing sector is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Director to lead their finance function during an exciting period of strategic growth and transformation.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving financial strategy, managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing IT systems and infrastructure. Sitting on the Executive Committee, the Finance Director will play a critical part in shaping the organisation's direction and supporting sustainable development.

What will you do as a Finance Director?

* Lead financial planning, reporting, and risk management across the Group

* Deliver robust budgets, forecasts, and KPIs to Executive and Board

* Oversee payroll, IT systems, and financial controls

* Manage audits, banking relationships, and investment planning

* Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team

* Support business development through clear financial analysis and modelling

* Ensure value for money across external contracts and service provision

What do you need as a Finance Director?

* Fully qualified finance professional with 3+ years pq experience

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Expertise in financial and management reporting

* Knowledge of Charity / Housing is essential

* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
