Role: Legal assistant - ConveyancingLocation: TrowbridgeHours: 9am - 5pmSalary: Dependant on experienceWe’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive full time Secretary/Legal Assistant to join our Residential Conveyancing team in Trowbridge.What will you be doing?

• Assisting with the preparation of contracts, leases and other property related documentation using Case Management and a variety of digital systems and web based portals.
• Drafting routine correspondence, preparing standard legal documents and updating case files accurately and efficiently.
• Liaising with Accounts to arrange money transfers, preparing risk and compliance documentation and coordinating with colleagues to ensure all required checks and processes are completed.
• Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other Solicitors. Ensuring clear and timely communication at every stage of the conveyancing process.
• Making and receiving telephone calls, dealing with clients in person and on the phone, making appointments, assisting with queries.
• Accurate typing, preparing and amending draft documents, opening files, sending initial letters and providing clients with quotes.

• Presents written documents clearly and professionally.
• Professional approach to clients and colleagues.
• Good telephone manner.
• Organisational ability.
• Ability to communicate with all clients and staff.
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail.
