Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Shift Leader to join our team at Mooregate. The Electrical Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and operations during their designated shifts, ensuring the uninterrupted functionality of critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a shift technical team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
* Operations Management: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including but not limited to power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and backup generators.
* Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to electrical issues and emergencies, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
* Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of electrical equipment and systems.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to electrical safety and operations.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for shift technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge of electrical systems and procedures.
* Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and external vendors as needed to support electrical projects and initiatives.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, implementing best practices to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical operations
