Axon Moore is delighted to be recruiting in the Trafford area with this rare opportunity to join a well established business as a finance apprentice. No prior experience is needed - just the right mindset, determination, and a genuine appetite to learn.

They'll support you through your AAT qualifications (and even ACCA/CIMA down the line). The Financial Controller started in the exact same role studying AAT, moved onto CIMA whilst climbing the ladder, and is now fully qualified. You'll be guided by people who get it!

As an Accounting Apprentice, you will:

Learn and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
Reconcile bank accounts and manage transactional data
Process purchase invoices and allocate payments
Create sales invoices and allocate receipts
Assist with credit control and follow up with customers
Maintain ledgers (sales, purchase, general)
Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Post journals and assist in month-end processes
Work closely with other members of the finance team to develop your understanding of business finance
Gain increasing responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence grow
What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and ready to build a lasting career in finance. You may be a recent school or college leaver, a career changer, or someone with a background like the military who is now ready to step into civilian working life.
