• Providing strategic leadership across statutory accounting, treasury management, taxation, and financial compliance.
• Acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership teams, committees, and governance bodies.
• Leading the financial closedown process, production of the Statement of Accounts, and managing relationships with External Audit.
• Line management of the Finance Manager and overall leadership of the Technical, Treasury, Insurance, Income, and Payments team.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, improve compliance, and mitigate financial risk.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and best practice.

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
