Our client is a well-established and growing freight forwarding company, known for delivering exceptional customer service and reliable logistics solutions. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Import Operations / Customer Service Coordinator to join their team.

Role Overview:As an Import Operations / Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of import shipments from start to finish. You’ll be liaising with customers, hauliers, and carriers, managing job files, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and manage import job files accurately and in a timely manner

  • Liaise directly with customers, hauliers, and carriers to coordinate shipments

  • Monitor and manage shipment progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders

  • Handle operational tasks including documentation, data entry, and invoicing

  • Use relevant systems such as Destin8, CNS, Microsoft Excel, and Teams for daily operations

  • Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving support to clients

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding import operations

  • Solid knowledge of Destin8, CNS, Excel, and Microsoft Teams

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Customs clearance knowledge is not required for this position
