A Star Recruitment are currently advertising on behalf of our client based in St Helens

We are currently recruiting a Weddings Events Coordinator for a company based in the St Helens area.

Hours of work - 18 hours per week (flexible evenings and weekends)

Duties - Be responsible for engaging, manging and coordinating a range of public and private events and functions (weddings, social and corporate events) from inital enquiry stage, planning anf execution through to delivery, ensuringexceptional high quality service, on time and to budget by efficiently and carefully managing customer expecations and requirements. This will include venue set up, catering, ceremony, and licensed premises provison from a wider team. Customer expectations and front of house are paramount in the success of this role.

Maximisation of the profitability of individual functions and events by applying costing methods and creating and tracking budgets for each event, i.e catering, staffing, overheads etc.

To ensure that the delivery of food and beverage service is carried out to customer and client satisfaction

Recruit, manage, train and support temporary and casual event bank staff required on ad-hoc need for each event

Must be able to work weekends and evenings and be flexible
