Team Educate are seeking Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to work with pupils in primary settings.

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Full-time, long-term, part-time.

Do you possess a background in education or a keen interest in working with children with specific learning needs (SEN)? Perhaps you have direct experience of working with young people with Special Educational Needs from another sector and are looking to apply this within an Education context? Here at Team Educate, we're currently in search of exceptional SEN Teaching Assistants to work in our partner schools in Bristol. We work with a number of mainstream and Special Schools who are seeking reliable, experienced and motivated Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1-to-1 basis.

With knowledge of how best to support pupils with additional learning needs, you will use your skills to encourage collaboration and engagement in lessons, as well as utilising strategies to offer bespoke support 1-to-1. Collaborating closely with seasoned educators, you'll contribute to fostering an environment that nurtures progress and development.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • A proactive attitude coupled with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in various settings.
  • Previous hands-on experience of working with young learners with varied needs.
  • A valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or a willingness to submit a new application.
