Long Term Futures are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant London to support KS1 and KS2 pupils in a welcoming primary school in Enfield (EN2). This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) develop academically, emotionally and socially.

You will join a supportive school team focused on creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment for every pupil.

The Role: Teaching Assistant London (Enfield)

As a Teaching Assistant, your daily responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs

Implementing strategies that support behavioural, emotional and social development

Assisting in delivering an engaging, structured and inclusive learning environment

Supporting personalised interventions and educational support plans

Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider SEN team to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing

Requirements

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you should have:

Previous experience working in a SEN or primary teaching assistant environment

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

A commitment to inclusive education and child development

An enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive approach

An understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing and pupil support
