The Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensuring the smooth running of month-end processes. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, helping to deliver accurate financial reporting and meaningful analysis that supports decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Produce and analyse financial reports and variances
- Collaborate with budget holders and internal departments
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
- Provide insight and support to aid business performance
About You
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
