Are you an experienced and confident Teaching Assistant looking to progress into a position, where you can really make an impact?A friendly and well-led primary school in Dudley is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing PPA cover, leading intervention and focus groups and support pupils' learning.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being a trusted member of staff who can make a visible difference every day.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan and deliver small group interventions in Phonics, Early Maths, English and Social & Emotional development.
  • Provide high-quality classroom support.
  • Step in to cover classes where needed, maintaining consistent routines and behaviour expectations.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, feeding back to class teachers and SLT.
  • Offer targeted support to SEN and vulnerable pupils, adapting your approach to suit a range of needs.
  • Contribute to wider school initiatives and enrichment activities, including leading clubs or focus groups.

About You

  • Hold a Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent) and have recent experience in a primary setting
  • Confident in leading whole class teaching when needed
  • Adaptable and organised, with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
