We are looking for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in Nelson. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about contributing to the educational development of young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging educational activities that meet the developmental needs of EYFS students.
• Support the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing and safe learning environment.
• Help with the preparation and organization of teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Provide individual support to students, focusing on their emotional and educational needs.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an EYFS Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A patient, caring, and creative approach to teaching and learning.
