Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham looking for an Assistant Principal to leadinclusion and SEND across the school. You'll also work as a SENDCo.

As an Assistant Principal / Assistant Headteacher, you'll work closely alongside the Principal and the wider leadership team. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of effective leadership leading to improved pupil outcomes, as well as a commitment to your own education.

This post is suitable for someone with vision and substance, who has a track record of leading improvement in a comprehensive school environment.

You have:

Proven experience in successfully leading SEND provision across a mainstream school or key stage
Successful classroom experience with a strong track record of progress for learners with a range of special educational needs
Recent leadership and management experience within SEND such as SENDCo
Qualified teacher status (QTS)
B.Ed. or degree with PGCE or similar qualification
NASENCO qualification (Desirable)
Successful completion of course such as NPQSL, NPQML (Desirable)
