Veritas are currently looking to recruit candidates for full time vacancies for Residential Support Workers to join our established team. Our small 15 bed residential home in the centre of Preston has since moved into a large rural 35 bed residential home/ on site school in Ribchester. We are needing committed residential support workers to promote independence and make a feel difference to our young people’s lives. We are seeking caring, compassionate and committed Support Workers to provide the care and positive influence that allows our amazing young people to lead ordinary lives. Whilst the role of a Support Worker offers variety, superb progression opportunities and training, it takes a courageous and committed individual to really succeed at the role. Experience is not essential, but a positive attitude, friendly persona and a caring nature are an absolute must. Hours: 37.5 Per Week Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 16:30pm Late Shifts 14:00- 22:30 Weekends: 7:30am-14:30pm or 14:00pm – 22:00pm Sleepers: 21:00pm – 9:00am Support Worker benefits include: * We provide superb FREE training to achieve qualifications in Social Care. * We offer competitive rates of pay, flexible holiday, special retail discount vouchers, and stakeholder pension scheme. * Due to the nature of the role as it is working with vulnerable young people all successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and reference check prior to commencing in post. * Successful applicants will effectively support the delivery of care to our young people and be enthusiastic individuals within their role, providing a range of experiences, activities and care. * Training is provided and you must be willing to work towards your Diploma level 3.
