Are you a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our vibrant school community in Brent, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact on the final year of primary education.

About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing our students for the transition to secondary school. You will be responsible for delivering the Year 6 curriculum, preparing students for their end-of-year assessments, and fostering a learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and resilience. The role also includes supporting students' social and emotional development during this important year.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach a full range of subjects in line with the Year 6 National Curriculum, including preparing students for SATs.

*

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.

*

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and setting clear targets for improvement.

*

Develop an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.

*

Work closely with other Year 6 teachers to plan and implement cross-curricular projects.

*

Support the social and emotional development of students, preparing them for the transition to secondary school.

*

Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

*

Experience teaching in Year 6 (or upper primary) is highly desirable.

*

Knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.

*

A proven track record of raising standards and achieving high student outcomes.

*

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

*

A commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.
