SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (East Grinstead)

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a primary school pupil with SEMH in East Grinstead, starting after the Easter holidays.

About the Role: You will provide personalised support to help the pupil access learning, develop social and emotional skills, and thrive in the classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in SEN support in primary schools who wants to make a real difference in a child's education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with SEMH needs.

• Assist with learning activities and classroom engagement.

• Support social and emotional development.

• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement personalised learning plans.

• Experience working with SEN pupils in a primary school setting.

• Understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support behaviour.
