The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function. This is a pivotal role in shaping the college’s people strategy, supporting staff development, and ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with the college’s strategic goals
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation
- Oversee staff wellbeing initiatives and drive engagement
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements
- Manage HR systems and data to support effective decision-making
What We’re Looking For- CIPD-qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
- Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within education or public sector
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organisation
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
