The Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function. This is a pivotal role in shaping the college’s people strategy, supporting staff development, and ensuring a positive and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with the college’s strategic goals
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation
  • Oversee staff wellbeing initiatives and drive engagement
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements
  • Manage HR systems and data to support effective decision-making
What We’re Looking For
  • CIPD-qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
  • Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within education or public sector
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organisation
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
