Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Service Sales Specialist on a Permanent basis working Remotely.

Reporting to the Sales and Tendering Manager, the Service Sales Specialist will be responsible for growth of our service customer base and for the sale of our advanced/digital offerings as they are developed. You'll also be responsible for delivering the full sales cycle for new customers from lead/opportunity generation through to needs identification, presentation/tender response, negotiation and closing.

Responsibilities of the Service Sales Specialist:

* Evaluation of client enquiry documentation and interpretation of their requirements, and assessment of commercial terms and conditions.

* Formulate competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation.

* Working with the tendering team to manage the preparation of all technical, financial, cash flow and operational delivery aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.

* Identify potential risks and opportunities in contract agreements across customers/channels.

* Identifies potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the project and evaluate supplier offers to match with specifications in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.

* Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs.

* Provide any necessary technical support to Sales Managers during meetings with customers.

* New customer sales.

* Championing our advanced / digital offerings both internally and to customers

Requirements of the Service Sales Specialist:

* Ideally 5 years previous sales experience focused on new business generation with a strong track record of winning new customers

* Recognised engineering qualification minimum HNC

* HV (400kV-132kV) and MV (66kV-11kV) knowledge and Industrial substation experience

* Sound communication, presentation and negotiation skills
