Are you a Planning Engineer with experience in the food or FMCG industry? We're recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our established production facility in Poole.

This is an exciting opportunity to support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure health & safety compliance, and lead the planning of engineering and maintenance activities to support business performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop and manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).

Plan, coordinate, and optimise engineering works to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.

Lead and support performance improvement and reliability-based maintenance strategies.

Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and H&S teams to deliver planned works on time and safely.

Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis for unplanned downtime.

Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards, particularly within food manufacturing regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Proven planning/engineering experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Solid knowledge of CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Shire, or similar).

Strong understanding of performance management, maintenance KPIs, and asset reliability.

Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Strong commitment to health and safety and working to high compliance standards.
