Mechanical Supervisor Opportunity - Leading M&E Contractor - Commercial Fit Out

Mechanical Supervisor required for a leading London-based M&E contractor delivering high-profile commercial fit-out projects across Canary Wharf and Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a £100m turnover, known for delivering prestigious commercial projects for major clients across the capital. The business has seen consistent growth over the past few years and continues to expand due to a strong pipeline of secured work.

They are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team and play a key role in delivering fast-paced commercial fit-out schemes.

The Role:

As Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation on site, managing mechanical operatives, and coordinating specialist subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.

You will work closely with the project management team while maintaining strong site leadership across multiple trades and subcontractors.

Due to the nature of commercial fit-out projects, occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet programme deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising mechanical installation works on commercial fit-out projects
• Managing mechanical operatives and coordinating subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with project specifications
• Liaising with project managers, engineers and other trades on site
• Monitoring progress and ensuring programme deadlines are met
• Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety on site

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor within the M&E / Building Services sector
• Background delivering commercial fit-out projects
• Strong leadership and coordination skills on site
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures and site compliance
• Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work streams
