Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to progress your career? Are you an HLTA looking for a senior role in a specialist setting?

A fantastic specialist school in Swindon, Wiltshire are looking to bring on a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the community this March! The school supports students with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties or complex needs. They are looking for a confident HLTA who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs.

Responsibilities of an HLTA :

• Guiding students and ensure support within the classroom
• Learn students' individual needs and adapt classroom approach to suit them
• Extra responsibility of leading lessons
• Collaborating with SENCO to implement appropriate education plans (IEP's) for students

The school have excellent facilities and resources for you to make use of throughout lessons and supporting the students. As an HLTA, you will follow the school's encouragement of helping students develop independence and functional skills!

Previous experience as a TA is necessary - this can be in a Specialist, Primary or Secondary education setting. A relevant degree or qualification would be beneficial but not mandatory. The most important thing is enthusiasm and dedication to supporting students!
