The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients while also taking the lead in developing the members of our Audit & Advisory team. As a pivotal figure in our leadership cadre, you will collaborate closely with our Directors and Partners. There are numerous exciting prospects awaiting those interested in joining our teams:

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Effectively managing a portfolio of clients, with reporting duties to Directors and Partners.
  • Ensuring that assignments are executed in accordance with the firm's standard procedures, including confirmation of arrangements with clients and coordination with internal departments, including cost estimation and billing agreements.
  • Cultivating strong client relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted business advisor.
  • Upholding the highest standards of assurance quality and compliance with the firm's procedures.
  • Briefing and overseeing staff on assignments, providing on-the-job training as needed, and liaising with senior client personnel to ensure the assignment aligns with agreed-upon terms.
  • Identifying and resolving critical audit matters and contentious items, in consultation with the client, Directors/Partners, and the national technical team as necessary.
  • Attending and presenting at client audit committee and board meetings.
  • Assisting Directors and Partners in identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, including participation in scoping and pitching efforts.
  • Active involvement in recruitment and line management, as well as attendance at relevant team meetings.

Requirements for this position:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification or an equivalent certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in client management.
  • Proven track record in conducting high-quality audits.
  • A strong commercial acumen.
