Electrical Day Shift Leader

We're hiring for an Electrical Day Shift Leader to join the engineering team at a high-profile commercial building in the heart of the City of London, a stones-throw from Bank Station.

The Electrical Day Shift Leader will oversee electrical and building services maintenance on a continental day shift, leading a small team of engineers to ensure the smooth running of this busy commercial building. The Electrical Day Shift Leader will play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining high operational standards across the site.

Responsibilities for an Electrical Day Shift Leader

* Leading a team of engineers delivering building services maintenance

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs

* Fault finding on electrical and building services systems

* Supporting the operation of plant including switchgear, generators and UPS systems

* Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with compliance requirements

Requirements

* Strong electrical building services maintenance background

* Experience leading or supervising engineers on a shift rota

* Experience working within large commercial or critical environments

* Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
