Job Title: Weighbridge Operator
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a well-established and busy site on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, accuracy, and a proactive attitude to support vital site operations.

Please note: Due to the rural location, a full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Maintain vehicle movement records using CRM systems and manual logs.
Issue and collect load documentation efficiently.
Coordinate on-site traffic and manage vehicle flow.
Assist with stock checks and reporting.
Conduct quality control checks on all goods entering and exiting the site.
About You:

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Comfortable working in a busy, outdoor environment.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident using IT systems (training provided).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A team player with a can-do, flexible approach.
