Required background: Main Contracting

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor on a permanent basis for an exciting residential development project in South East London.

This is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile scheme, working for a contractor with a solid reputation for delivering high-quality residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead commercial and cost management activities for a residential development

* Manage procurement, subcontractor packages, and contract administration

* Oversee valuations, payments, cost reporting, and final accounts

* Liaise closely with project teams, clients, and external consultants

* Ensure commercial objectives are met efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally with a main contractor

* Strong background in residential construction projects

* Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills

* Confident working across both office and site environments

* Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
