Join E.ON Next, a fresh start-up within the energy space, where we're building exciting digital products that put customers first. We're looking for a creative and passionate Product Designer to shape intuitive, impactful user experiences across all digital platforms. You'll lead design efforts-from user journeys and wireframes to prototypes and style guides-using research-driven insights to bring our bold new brand to life. More than just a designer, you'll help coach the team, champion the voice of the user, and set a new standard in the UK energy market. Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

  • Defining the User Experience of Next's Employee and Productivity cloud applications with some customer facing work, taking brand playbook concepts and bringing them to life through the delivery of an industry leading product design

  • Have a strong UX process that justifies decisions based on data, analytics and qualitative feedback

  • Create design proposals using figma, wireframes, UI designs and prototyping

  • Coach our Engineers on the tools and tricks of your trade

  • Work with Engineers and the Product Managers to ensure designs are correctly implemented

  • Help develop our design pattern library

  • Have a strong sense of modern design culture and agile methodologies

  • Conduct research to understand user needs and requirements

  • Leverage analytics and insights to guide the design process

  • Run workshops and requirements gathering sessions with clients and stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with product, design and tech to define the product vision and scope

  • Develop clickable prototypes for rapid reviews, development and testing

  • Work on short design sprints to develop PoCs ahead of the engineering team

  • Assist with presentations and contribute to scoping projects and timelines

  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders in an effective and confident manner

  • Previous experience in bringing a large brand to life

  • 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Ability to gather inputs from end-users, SMEs, stakeholders, the business and technology teams

  • Self-starting, self-organising and able to adapt to multiple roles within the product lifecycle

  • Understanding of analytics tools

  • Experience managing A/B tests

  • Experience designing for web and native apps essential

  • Passion for all things UX, technology and design

  • Experience running user research sessions/workshops

  • An ability to tell compelling stories about your designs and present your work with confidence

  • Strong documentation skill

  • Ability to prioritise projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time

  • Comfort in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe CC suite, and other design tools

  • Portfolio showing your thought process and UX design solutions for mobile, apps, and responsive web

  • Location - London - E.ON Next, 47-53 Charterhouse Street, Farringdon, London, EC1M 6PB with travel to our other sites when required.
