ASD TA Secondary

Location: Consett, County Durham
Salary: £75 - £95 per day
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Job Summary: GSL Education are seeking an ASD Teaching Assistant for secondary school settings, dedicated to supporting students with autism spectrum disorder in achieving their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in adapting lessons to meet the needs of ASD students.
Provide one-on-one support in educational and social development.
Help manage sensory sensitivities and communication challenges.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to maximize student success.
Requirements:

Experience in supporting secondary age students with ASD.
Knowledge of strategies to support ASD in educational settings.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS on the update service.
