Civil Engineering contractor with long term project work in Somerset require a number of Site Engineers to work on various projects based around Taunton, Somerset. Each Site Engineer will be setting out for Drainage, Earthworks and RC structures etc. working with groundwork and infrastructure trades. Kit can be provided or supplied by the Engineer with an agreed rate uplift.

Duties are setting out, supervision of relevant trades, record keeping and technical support, helping to ensure work is completed within time, budget, quality and safety parameters. Selected candidates will ideally be a graduate or a minimum ONC qualification in a construction related discipline and a minimum of 12 months experience. Candidates must be able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience working with main contractors on projects where R.C., piling, earthworks, temporary works etc. are prevalent. Any experience working within Ecology or Environmental works will be looked at especially favourably.

The Site Engineering roles will start between early February 2024 and Mid March 2024. Work will continue for around a year with the prospect of further work beyond that if candidates prove suitable.

Permanent applicants will also be considered.

Day rate will be competitive and in line with experience.
