Art Teacher

A secondary SEMH provision based in Bamber Bridge in Preston are looking to hire a full-time Art Teacher to start 1st September 2022. The school require additional teaching staff to fully support the needs of their pupils. They aim to equip their pupils with essential life skills to ensure they are ready to move onto further education or working life after leaving their provision.

The role:

As a teacher in a secondary SEMH provision your role is to promote positive behaviours, social situations, and communication skills, being able to build trusting and respectful relationships and working environments for your pupils to ensure they achieve to their fullest potentials. You will need to have worked previously teaching art in an educational setting or have has previous employment in an artist setting or capacity. You will need to be confident in delivering lessons at GCSE Art Level to pupils aged 11-16 years.

-          QTS is desirable but cover supervisor roles also acceptable

-          Competitive daily rate of pay £150-£180 p/d

-          PAYE contract
