About the Role

A leading chemical and polymer manufacturer is seeking an experienced Shift Analyst to join their team in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with proven plant-based laboratory analytical and wet chemistry skills to work in a high-performing, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality analytical testing in a manufacturing environment
Carry out titrations, GC analysis, and/or IC/ICP testing, depending on your skillset
Ensure compliance with strict safety protocols and laboratory best practices
Accurately record and interpret results to support operational decision-making
Collaborate closely with production and process teams to maintain quality standards

What We're Looking For

Valid UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience working in a chemical or polymer manufacturing environment (essential)
Skilled in at least one but ideally several of the following:
Titrations
Gas Chromatography (GC)
Ion Chromatography (IC)
Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analysis
Strong awareness of laboratory safety and good laboratory practice
Proactive, adaptable, and willing to work both day and night shifts
