Company: PARKINSON GRAY ASSOCIATES
Job Type: Permanent, FullTime
Salary: £45000 - £60000/annum & car and package
Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged to recruit for an M&E Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of Yorkshire's leading independent building services contractors. Parkinson Gray is acting as Recruiting Agent for this role.
This is one of the best know and longest-standing MEP Contractors in our region. Working from their Yorkshire offices they compete with the best known independent businesses and have an envious order book with long-standing Clients. They are experiencing a significant period of growth.
As a Building Services Quantity Surveyor, you will join an established team and will be responsible for providing contractual and financial monitoring in order to deliver projects on time and within budget. In essence, you will be a key member of the team who is focussed on profitable project delivery. Of course, you will be a senior member of that team and responsible for the usual responsibilities you would expect as a Quantity Surveyor.
There is little need to run down the duties of a Quantity Surveyor (QS). The successful applicant will know very well what the role entails and we are looking for an experienced person. Perhaps more useful is to focus on the Candidate we are looking for here.
We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor with a firm background in building services. By this, we mean mechanical and electrical. The ideal candidate will come from either a PQS or MEP contracting background but will have a definite MEP bias to their experience. Whilst my client may consider a Senior QS from a building contractor background we really do need that M&E experience.
This is a chance to join one of the regions leading building services contractors. If you are an M&E QS, Yorkshire based and considering making a move you really do want to have this as one of the roles you are considering. As always, I am available for a conversation in total confidence. You can find my number on our website, or simply send me your CV as an application and I will get in touch with you
