Central Recruitment is looking CNC Setter/Operator (Back-Shift)
Due to continued growth within our manufacturing division, we are recruiting a CNC Machinist on a back-shift who will work predominantly on our Turning & Milling Section. Other CNC machining experience such as Creep Feed Grinding and EDM is desirable.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:-
* Minimum of 3 years' in a similar CNC role
* Experience of Fanuc based programming language
* Competent in interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
* Ability to competently inspect own work using a host of conventional measuring techniques (micrometers, verniers, height gauges etc.)
* Experience of working in the Aerospace industry and therefore conscious of the high standards the industry demands
* Experience of working with super alloy type materials such as Inconel, Nimonic & Stellite
* Offline programming (desirable)
Key Skills / other requirements:-
* Good work ethic
* Excellent attention to detail
* Keen to be involved in improvement projects such as 5S, SMED etc.
* Working to daily OEE targets
* Flexible to work overtime as and when required
* Attend and contribute to daily SQCDP/Production meetings
* Mentoring of other team members
Shift Pattern:-
Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10.00pm / Friday 11am to 4.15pm

Rates:-
Hourly rates are between £13 & £14.00 per hour depending on experience +10% allowance for back-shift
