Liberty CL are absolutely delighted to be partnering with a global business, for a role based on the outskirts of Southampton, who are looking for a Product Sales Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The main purpose of this role is to build significant relationships with an existing customer base and to identify and develop new long-term sales opportunities. You will assist the Business Director in the preparation of annual plans, visit reports and forecasting tasks.

Some of your duties will include:

* Maintain strong industry, and product knowledge by conducting market research and customer analysis, and use to contribute towards the company commercial strategy

* Negotiate tender and contract Ts & Cs in line with company processes and procedures

* Encourage and champion collaboration across business functions and liaise effectively with internal teams to achieve overall company success

As an individual, it is essential that you will have a proven sales and commercial experience with managing large/national accounts, and you will need to be comfortable with the preparation of large offers and tenders.

If you have had experience in technical sales, or selling to the industrial or energy markets, that would be a welcomed advantage.

You will come with an aptitude for numbers, be a confident presenter of information, with excellent all-round communication skills.

You will be a self-motivated team player who possesses excellent negotiation skills. A full UK driving license is also an essential.

The contractual hours are 39 hours per week and the role will require UK-based travel.
