Vehicle Technician - Independent Workshop Opportunity

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 basic per annum

About the Role:

Our client is a well-established, independent automotive workshop with over 17 years of experience in the motor trade. We're now looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles

*

Perform MOT repairs and inspections (MOT classes 1, 2, 4, 5, 7)

*

Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostics tools and technical information

*

Record and report faults found and work completed

*

Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

*

Opportunity to train as an MOT Tester (if not already qualified)

What We're Looking For:

*

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

*

At least 2 years' workshop experience in the automotive industry

*

Strong mechanical understanding and ability to work independently

*

Full UK Driving Licence preferred (but not essential)
