SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER - INSIDE IR35 - £29 PER HOUR - BELFAST - CONTRACT UNTIL 17/11 - 36 HOURS PER WEEK - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS
An established global aerospace manufacturing organisation is seeking a Supply Logistics Planner to support material planning and shopfloor supply coordination within a high-performance production environment.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate planning, control and delivery of materials required to meet the Master Production Schedule, working closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to maintain production flow and optimise inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate supply chain data and provide reporting visibility to the Operations team
Support planning activity through MRP systems, ensuring parameters and planning signals are maintained correctly
Coordinate parts supply to support production schedules and shopfloor requirements
Monitor and analyse forward load and capacity planning data to support operational delivery
Maintain high levels of system data accuracy and inventory control
Support kitting and material availability to ensure timely delivery of parts to production and external customers
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Execution and Operations teams to support overall manufacturing performance
Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates with experience working in a manufacturing supply chain or materials planning environment.
Key requirements include:
Experience working with MRP planning systems
Understanding of materials planning, inventory management or production supply processes
Ability to analyse operational data and support production planning activities
Strong attention to detail and system accuracy
Effective communication skills within cross-functional operational teams
Qualifications
HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline or
Professional certification such as CIPS or CPIM
Candidates with relevant supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment will also be considered
