Salary: £27,000-£37,000 base + uncapped commission

About the Opportunity

Construction and infrastructure are booming across Northern Ireland, with major capital investment projects underway and a persistent shortage of skilled professionals at every level. Our client runs one of NI's busiest construction and engineering desks, placing site managers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and skilled trades across the private and public sectors. They're now looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join a thriving team and capitalise on a sector with exceptional long-term demand.

What You'll Be Doing

* Recruit across a wide range of construction and engineering roles — perm and contract

* Build and manage relationships with contractors, consultancies, and housebuilders across NI

* Source passive candidates via LinkedIn, referrals, and direct approaches

* Advise clients on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and hiring strategy

* Manage multiple open vacancies simultaneously with accuracy and urgency

* Represent your agency at industry events and networking forums

What We're Looking For

* At least 12 months' recruitment experience — construction, engineering or trades background preferred

* Understanding of the NI construction landscape and key employers

* Ability to juggle a high-volume desk with strong attention to detail

* Resilient, commercially minded, and results-driven

* Full driving licence desirable for occasional site visits
