This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic local community driven Hospice serving the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Area.
We require a motivated, enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and experience of dealing with members of the public.
You should be organized and able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload.
You will be dealing with visitors, patient’s and telephone enquiries and be willing to undertake a variety of administrative duties on our In Patient Unit.
You will need to be IT literate, and proficiency in the use of EMIS (or equivalent Patient Management System) would be an advantage.
This role will often involve you being the first point of contact for patients, relatives and other health care professionals and a calm, friendly attitude is paramount.
Based on our adult In-patient Unit you will be working with and supporting our clinical teams, volunteer workforce and Quality & Governance Compliance Co-ordinator.
You will be responsible for the daily management of the administration within the In-Patient unit, liaising with internal and external colleagues to support the efficient and effective running of the In-Patient ; You will also provide support to the Quality & Governance Compliance Co-ordinator in respect of Governance reporting, Audit and Assurance.
