Our client is a high-end construction company who are seeking an Application Sales Technician Manager based within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes but working nationally in the field.

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus bonusLocation: Commutable to Milton Keynes, field-based.Type of Contract: PermanentHours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities of theApplication Sales Technician Manager 

• Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience across the UK.
• Drive business growth by managing incoming enquiries, identifying new markets, and shaping the overall sales strategy.
• Oversee demonstrations and project delivery, using your CAD/CAM knowledge to guide the team in proving machine capability and supporting installations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent aftersales support and long-term partnerships.
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and supplier meetings, including occasional travel to Germany, while fostering collaboration within the wider business.

Requirements for a successful Application Sales Technician Manager 

• Proven track record in technical sales leadership, with experience managing and developing a high-performing team.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to create and execute sales strategies that deliver growth.
• Solid understanding of CNC milling machines; CAD/CAM expertise would be a strong advantage.
• Confident communicator with experience engaging both SMEs and large corporate clients.
• Proactive, results-driven, and skilled at balancing hands-on involvement with strategic oversight.
