Dedicated History Teacher Wanted in Kensington! High-Achieving School
Our high-achieving school in Kensington is seeking a Dedicated History Teacher to join our successful Humanities department. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire a fascination with the past and equip students with strong analytical and historical inquiry skills across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 teaching.
Location: Kensington Role: History Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
* Inspire students to develop a critical understanding of historical events and their impact on the present.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the History curriculum and share best practices.
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in History.
* Potentially contribute to the teaching of History at A-Level, depending on experience and expertise.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History.
* Degree in History or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching History at secondary level, with the ability to teach up to A-Level desirable.
* A strong subject knowledge and a passion for making history relevant and engaging for students.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centered History lessons.
