Italian Senior Supply Planner

They are in search of an ambitious and process driven Senior Supply Planner with experience of managing a complex inbound FMCG supply chain network.

What is expected of you?

• Manage the end-to-end inbound UK retail supply process with all major contract manufacturing partners.
• Manage day to day relationship with 3PLs in the UK and other distribution partners and implement review meetings to ensure SLAs and service targets are met.
• Oversee Inventory Management and stock reconciliation including providing accurate reporting & analytics on companywide stock position.
• Regularly review cost to serve and identify cost saving opportunities in logistics and distribution.
• Lead and manage the Supply Planning for up to 100 SKU's and a large roster of international Contract/3rd Party Manufacturers.
• Analyse customer order data and optimise freight costs.
• Work closely with the wider Supply Chain Team (Demand planning and S&OP) to ensure effective planning to support the business in delivery excellent customer service.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting for key metrics such as OTIF, Fill Rate, Stock accuracy and customer compliance.
• In conjunction with the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, set and execute the business Supply Planning strategy.

As a successful SME going through sustained growth, it is essential that the Senior Supply Planner is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience -

• Extensive inbound Supply Chain experience within the Food & Beverage sector
• Experience of managing end to end Supply of products from 3rd party/contract manufacturers
• Expertise of managing multiple 3PL & Logistics providers.
• Passionate stock / inventory professional with strong analytical skills
• Experience working with demand planning and S&OP teams to convert long term forecasts into detailed Supply Plans, ensuring OTIF delivery of product to UK 3PL's.
• Superb communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hugely proactive individual, able to think outside the box under pressure
• Excellent number cruncher and solid experience with Excel & ERP systems
