Semi-Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice

Salary- £30,000 – £40,000Location- Southeast LondonFull-Time | Permanent 

Reed Croydon is supporting a growing, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Southeast London, now looking for a motivated Part-Qualified Semi-Senior Accountant with strong practice experience. This role offers excellent progression, varied client exposure, and full study support for ACA or ACCA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, and sole traders
• Preparation of corporation tax computations and CT600s
• Assisting with personal tax returns and partnership tax returns
• Managing client queries and maintaining strong client relationships
• Preparing/assisting with management accounts
• Supporting MTD for ITSA digital record-keeping and quarterly submissions
• Helping with VAT returns, CIS, and general bookkeeping
• Ensuring work is completed on time and to practice standards
• Assisting on advisory work and practice-wide projects

What the Practice Is Looking For:

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
• Must have previous UK practice experience- minimum 2 years
• Confident preparing accounts with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of Corporation Tax and VAT principles
• Comfortable working in a client-facing capacity
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple deadlines
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks essential
• IRIS Accounts Production experience highly desirable
