Nursery Officer / Early Years Educator / Nursery Nurse - Hackney

Location: Hackney, London

Start Date: 13th April - Summer Term 2026

Hourly Rate: £18

Hours: 8am - 6pm

SANZA Teaching Agency is partnering with a welcoming primary school with an attached children's centre in Hackney to recruit an experienced Nursery Officer / Early Years Educator / Nursery Nurse to join their 2-year-old provision for the summer term starting 13th April.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and early learning experiences for young children. You will join a supportive, enthusiastic team and contribute to a well-regarded children's centre, helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Please note: Candidates must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare to be considered.

Role Purpose

Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children in the 2-year-old room

Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create an enabling environment where children can play, explore, develop, and learn

Support daily routines, activities, and learning experiences tailored to the needs of young children

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience working in a school or nursery setting

Level 3 qualification in Childcare - essential

Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly approach

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Location & Accessibility

The school and children's centre are easily accessible by public transport, just a short hop from Stratford Station to Hackney Wick.
