A small school in the York area are searching for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to help their EYFS/ Year 1 class. If you have a qualification to care for early years and have your own transport this may be the role for you!

Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant.
Location: York
Salary: £70 -£75 a day dependent on experience
Start time: ASAP

GSL Education are working with a remote school near the York area to find an Early Years Teaching Assistant who is required Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every week until the end of the academic year. You may be asked to work at the school on Monday and Tuesday but initially this role will only be for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. As the school is in a remote area your own transport or a way to get there without the use of public transport is essential.

Requirements:

An Early Year's Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. This could be childhood studies related.
Have experience in caring for children or at least 6 months Early years Primary School experience.
Assist teachers in the implementation of appropriate behaviour management and teaching and learning strategies.
Empathy towards young children and good communication skills.
Be confident in creating fun and exciting ways of learning.
SEN experience is advantageous.
The right to work in the UK.
