Premier Education are working with a supportive primary school in Manchester, part of a well-established multi-academy trust, to recruit a Reception Teacher (EYFS) for a long-term role from March to May 2026.

This is a 4-day-per-week position, ideal for teachers looking for strong work-life balance while gaining valuable experience in Early Years. The school provides excellent support and mentoring, making it a great opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers alike.

The school is easily accessible from Manchester, Stockport and Tameside, with good transport links.

The Role
  • Teaching a Reception class (EYFS)

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS framework

  • Supporting pupils' early development, learning and wellbeing

  • Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with the wider school team

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - UK

  • Experience teaching in Early Years / Reception

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

  • Ability to support pupils with additional needs

  • Good behaviour management and classroom organisation

  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
