Are you looking for an exciting new role working within a specialist company, providing professional event support and management to not-for-profit organisations? We have the perfect opportunity available for a confident individual to join our client based in Broadstairs as an Events Assistant, offering social hours of Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm and hybrid working.

Responsibilities

* Assist the Senior Events Coordinator in managing exhibition and sponsorship activities

* Serve as the primary contact for exhibitor/sponsor interactions, fostering and maintaining strong relationships

* Issue event prospectuses, offering advice and guidance on available packages and benefits

* Generate and process sponsorship and exhibition application forms

* Ensure accurate tracking of exhibitor and sponsor package benefits

* Collaborate with the Accounts team to facilitate invoicing, ensuring timely and precise provision of information

* Collaborate with the wider team to ensure comprehensive implementation of all exhibitor/sponsor elements

* Compile and distribute delegate lists for sponsors/exhibitors

* Coordinate with exhibitors/sponsors to ensure timely submission of registrations

* Take charge of managing the exhibitor booth allocation process

* Assist exhibitors in tracking and managing their shipping, AV, and furniture requirements

* Supervise the coordination and execution of on-site activities for exhibitors/sponsors, including setup and teardown

* Act as the primary point of contact for exhibitors and sponsors

* Maintain and update exhibition and sponsorship web pages

* Collaborate with Communications to develop digital/printed materials as needed

* Gather and share key information and statistics for event materials

Skills and Experience

* Previous events experience would be hugely beneficial for the role

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively

* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

* Customer-focused mindset, with a passion for providing outstanding support to event attendees

* Able to work as part of a small team

* Enthusiastic and thrives in a fast-paced, yet fun environment
