Assistant Accountant

Full-Time, Office-Based - Bristol

Up to £45,000

We're looking for a friendly and organised Assistant Accountant to join a small finance team in Bristol on a full-time permanent basis.

You'll be working closely with the Head of Finance, supporting with monthly reports, checking budgets and helping with sales and payroll tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support production of monthly management reports
• Sales & costing analysis
• Support budgeting & forecasting
• Assist with other finance tasks when needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• AAT qualified, part-qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or qualified-by-experience
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, LOOKUPs)
• Ability to spot discrepancies and investigate them.
• Confident speaking to non-Finance colleagues
• Experience in payroll advantageous yet not essential
