Actio Engineering Recruitment are assisting a highly regarded precision engineering company based in Accrington who are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator to join their team.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

* Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls and some use of CD /CAM software

* Read and interpret engineering drawings with precision

* Select appropriate tools and machining strategies for various materials

* Inspect finished components using measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, CMM, verniers)

* Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure high standards

🔧 Experience & Requirements:

* Proven experience programming and operating CNC milling machines

* Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems

* Ability to work from complex technical drawings

* Understanding of machining practices within a precision engineering environment

* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
