Maths Science Graduates required for teaching assistant roles with a salaried teacher training option for September 2020.

A secondary school in Birmingham are looking for maths science graduates with a 2:2 or above degree to work as teaching assistants for the 2019/20 academic year.

These roles are perfectly suited to graduates who have been considering a career in teaching but who would like to gain classroom experience before fully committing to teacher training programme.

If you are successful in your role as a teaching assistant and you would like to train to teach, this school can provide you with the opportunity to train in their school, the following academic year through a school-based route.

For this position, you must be a talented graduate who has achieved at least a 2:2 or above in your degree. In this teaching assistant role, you will be mainly supporting children on a one to one and small group basis, with a key emphasis on working with GCSE pupils. These are highly rewarding roles and you will genuinely make a difference in the lives of the children you work with. You will need to be enthusiastic and passionate about your subject, have energy and drive to be able to inspire and motivate - and most importantly, have a huge smile on your face at all times and love what you do.
