SITE MANAGER

Near Cardiff, Wales

We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager with a background in civil engineering, to work as part of the delivery team on a process engineering project near Cardiff. The project involves a variety of elements associated with the continued operation of a legacy process mechanical process site and will require experience of both civil engineering and building structures including M&E.

The Site Manager will report to the Project Manager and work alongside the M&E Supervisor. Applicants must put a strong emphasis on site safety and must have experience of the safe and timely delivery or civil engineering projects within the process engineering and water sector.

Reporting to the Project Manager, duties include but are not limited to;

* Managing a site team

* Management of subcontractors

* Delivering works, always ensuring the highest level of safety

* Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities

* Writing & reviewing RAMS

* Client interface

* Progress reporting

* Signing off permits for confined space

* Checking and signing off temporary works

Qualifications/skills:

* HND/BEng in Civil Engineering or by experience

* SMSTS

* CSCS

* Process engineering knowledge would be advantageous but not a necessity.
